We are striving to become the recognized standard for hair restoration throughout the world by transcending the boundaries of Asia.
FORHAIR was the first to develop a stable non-incisional method for collection of hair follicles.
FORHAIR, specializing in FUE hair transplant was first established in the USA in 1989 by Dr. John Cole, the foremost authority in non-incisional hair implantation in the World.
Amazingly, FUE hair transplant in its early years used a straw-shaped cylindrical device rotated manually to pull out hair follicles one by one. Since the hair follicles were extracted manually, they incurred a lot of damage, making it difficult to achieve efficient surgery.
As such, Dr. John Cole developed a motorized punching system to collect hair follicles for the first time quickly without damaging them. This was the start of the non-incisional punch method that has become widespread now.
Since then, FUE hair transplant has become highly popular throughout the world, and its reputation continuously grows in Seoul, Korea.
FORHAIR KOREA has first introduced FUE hair transplant optimized for Koreans.
FORHAIR hospital opened
in Asia for the first time in Seoul in 2006.
It was possible because Korean medial staff achieved the high-level certification and skill requirements of FORHAIR.
Although it is not clear whether it definitely was the very first to carry out the procedure,
it is almost certain that FORHAIR kick-started FUE hair transplant industry in Korea,
since there weren’t previously any clinics that performed this service.
The approach method had to be altered since Koreans have scalps and hair that are completely different from those of westerners. By sharing advanced medical technology through participation in a wide range of conferences in various countries throughout the world, we ardently pursued independent research and development of a surgical technique optimized for Koreans.
Rather than mimicking a new surgical procedure simply by changing its name, FORHAIR ceaselessly works to secure the means of always producing fundamentally and realistically solid results.
In 2013,
we received the Golden Follicle Award, the Nobel Prize in the area of hair restoration.
Although FUE hair transplant that improved upon the shortcomings of the incisional method had been developed, we were still left with the problem of having to perform surgery over prolonged periods of time, and reducing the damage caused to hair follicles. FORHAIR eventually developed its independent punching method for a non-incisional partial shaving technique (Cole Isolation Technique (CIT)**) and non-incisional technique without shaving (Cole Isolation Technique 2nd Generation (C2G)***) for hair follicle collection.
This enabled collection of hair follicles while minimizing damage, and the time required for surgery was reduced markedly. By drastically and completely changing the paradigm of FUE hair transplant, FORHAIR made stable non-incisional hair transplant a reality.
We believe development of innovative surgical methods through ceaseless effort and research should be the natural daily activity of all medical staff.
We roam around the world for the singular purpose of achieving satisfactory results.
FORHAIR is still passionate.
We are taking a step further by subjecting the surgical methods that we have developed
and advanced through continuous research to verification on the international stage.
In addition, we assess the new surgical techniques being developed and attempted by other specialists in other countries by participating in key academic symposiums and seminars for hair transplant throughout the world. We can conclude from this the roles that FORHAIR needs to play in the international community.
FORHAIR roams around the world today in order to provide satisfactory results with the most advanced surgical procedures for all visiting patients.
The trust and faith of our many patients have led to the honor of receiving a wide range of awards.
With the popularization of FUE hair transplant, greater numbers of foreign patients have been visiting
FORHAIR from countries including the USA, Russia, Japan, China, Singapore, etc.
There have occasionally been cases of foreign patients and Korean patients who previously underwent hair transplant
in Turkey visiting our hospital for re-surgery. Although procedure costs are low in Turkey,
many of the clinics are not equipped with the necessary systematic surgical environment.
Considering the fact that many celebrities and models who tend to be quite specific and complicated in their requirements choose to visit our hospital, we are of the opinion that FORHAIR may become the recognized standard for hair transplant in Asia.
Accordingly, FORHAIR shall strive ceaselessly to provide the best professional medical services for hair transplant in the world by transcending the boundaries of Asia.
