Generally, women’s hairlines are characterized by fluffy and fine soft hair at the very front with gradually thicker hair towards the scalp. Unlike men, the very front of the woman’s hairline features single-strand hair follicles which are thinner and lighter in color in comparison to hair in the occipital region of the head. Accordingly, FORHAIR enhances the naturalness of hair transplant through application of a 4-stage gradient technique of implanting the thinnest 1-strand hair follicles at the very front and increasingly thicker multi-strand hair follicles towards the back of the hair line.

Sweeping an abundance of hair up with one’s hand adds feminine appeal to women. Since Asians have significant differences in scalp and hair color, it is possible to achieve a more natural appearance if hair follicles are implanted at a greater density of 40~50 hair follicles per 1㎠.
Therefore, It is advisable to implant very thin multiple-strand hair follicles rather than simply implanting thick hairs closely. Depending on the situation, it is possible to lower density to the extent of revealing the scalp slightly if high density implantation is difficult. However, if hair is implanted in a perfect single line for a lower density case, it can become quite noticeable. There occasionally are clients who complain that the direction of their hair growth is different or that the implanted hair gets lifted up following a hairline correction procedure.
Since the fine soft hair at the very front of the hairline lies down low and almost adheres to the skin, precautions need to be exercised during hair follicle implantation as it is possible to cut surrounding hair follicles due to erroneous adjustment of the slit angle arising from lack of surgeon skill or experience.
