We tenaciously ask questions about a given patient on factors that can affect the hair and scalp, including why hair loss began, why the scalp may be particularly hard, what the patient’s normal dietary habits, health condition, occupation, and personality are and whether there is any presence of stress and high blood pressure, as well as if the patient generally lies down only on one side when they sleep.
