Treatment plan: His hair loss was quite advanced, with diffuse thinning from the hairline to the crown. However, he was a good candidate as he had a sufficient number of donor hairs available, even though the hairs were thin. We planned for 2,000 grafts, with the option to do a bit more if the donor area allowed. In total, 2,133 grafts were implanted from the hairline to the top, achieving decent density. The new grafts were carefully placed in between the original hairs. For the crown, Finasteride was chosen to help thicken the existing original hair.

Final result: The newly transplanted hairs have successfully matured into thick, healthy strands. He has gained good volume on the top, allowing for more daily styling options. In the crown area, Finasteride has helped thicken the existing hair. 

This is a great example of an efficient approach for achieving visible results—using only a minimal amount of donor hair to maximize impact, while maintaining a donor-saving strategy for future needs.
