FORHAIR FUE Patient Guide
Surgery Day
• Wash your hair thoroughly before you come in. After shampooing, make sure to rinse thoroughly.
• Do not apply any hair products (such as spray, gel, serum, etc.) to your hair.
• Do not wear makeup, including tinted sunscreens or BB creams.
• If you're wearing contact lenses, please prepare a pair of glasses for emergency use.
• Be sure to eat a light breakfast. Some people may feel faint if they have local anesthesia on an empty stomach.
• Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing, such as a shirt with buttons in front or a zip-up jumper. It is advised that you avoid wearing any clothing that may come into contact with the surgery areas(head).
• Wear socks as the operating room can be cold.
• When you arrive, we will provide you with a surgical gown (top & bottom). If you'd like to wear an inner, please ensure it has a wide-open neck top to avoid any possible blood stains on the collar.
• Do not wear any fashion accessories.
• A black beanie will be provided to cover the bandages after the procedure, and it will be removed the next day. You do not need to bring your own hat.
• Payment: The remaining balance for your surgery must be fully paid before the procedure begins. If you're using an credit/debit cards, please ensure your balance and daily or monthly limit are checked beforehand.
• Driving or flying home on the day of your procedure is not recommended, even if you have a companion. Public transport is recommended.

• Bring your passport if you are eligible for a tax refund.
• Do not bring any valuables to the office.
• Be on time for your appointment. If you're running late, please contact your consultant/advisor.
• STEPS:
Getting changed > entering the operating room > preparation for surgery > consultation with your surgeon (design) > surgery
• We use local anesthesia, so you will be fully awake during the procedure.
• You can watch Netflix during the procedure.
• Books, tablets, laptops, and phones are not allowed inside the operating room. However, you may use your phone during the lunch break.
• You can monitor the progress of the procedure on the screen next to the TV.
• Lunch will be provided, and there will be a 30-minute break.
• We advise patients to return to their home/room to rest after the procedure.
• You will be released from the clinic with your head bandaged and a beanie placed on.
• An appointment for the removal of the bandages and beanie will be scheduled for the next day.
• Showing is allowed while wearing the beanie.
• Sleeping position: Use the provided post-op pillow and sleep on your back.
• Post-op medication: Please take them as directed.
If you need extra pain relief, you can take tylenol - no more than 2 tablets a day.
